The City of Cape Coral requires a minimum rental period of seven days for short-term letting of residential homes. This is a statutory requirement, not a house rule. Exceptions are possible only in justified cases.
Across 197 square metres the villa offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms for up to six people: a master suite with a king bed, a second bedroom with a king bed and a third with a queen bed.
Depending on the season, the nightly rate is between USD 150 and USD 240 for the whole villa, regardless of party size. The lowest rate applies in September and October, the highest from February to Easter. The rate sheet is dated January 2026.
A cleaning fee of USD 260 is added, plus 5 per cent tourist tax and 6.5 per cent local sales tax on rent and cleaning. At Thanksgiving, over the turn of the year and at Easter a surcharge of 20 per cent applies to the nightly rate.
No. Final cleaning is charged separately at USD 260 for a normal level of soiling. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels, beach towels, cool boxes and the parasol are included.
Select your dates in the calendar and send the enquiry to info@turtleview.de. After confirmation, 30 per cent of the total is due, with the balance 60 days before arrival. Online payment via PayPal is currently being set up.
Cancellation terms are set out in writing when the booking is confirmed. Through the Happy Cape agency, deposits already paid are non-refundable. For direct bookings we confirm the terms before the contract is concluded. Travel cancellation insurance is advisable in any case.
The refundable security deposit is USD 500. It is returned after departure, less actual electricity consumption and any damage.
No. Electricity is billed by actual consumption and offset against the security deposit. In Florida, air conditioning and pool heating account for most of it.
Yes. The saltwater pool can be heated electrically and via solar absorbers, as can the connected hot tub. Saltwater means noticeably less chlorine smell and is gentler on the skin than conventional chlorination.
No, out of consideration for guests with allergies pets are not permitted. Smoking is not allowed indoors either, though it is fine on the covered terrace.
Cape Coral itself sits on canals and the Caloosahatchee River. The nearest swimming beach is the Yacht Club Public Beach, about 15 minutes by car. Fort Myers Beach takes around 35 minutes, Sanibel Island around 45.
The nearest international airport is Southwest Florida International (RSW) in Fort Myers, roughly 40 minutes away by car. A rental car is effectively a requirement: Cape Coral has no meaningful public transport.
